Do not think that you have to do something special all the time. Even simple things can produce the bonding that benefits you and your children. You can do things such as brushing your children’s hair, cooking their favorite meal or simply giving hugs every chance you have.

Interactions

You should make sure that when you are together, you focus on each other. Plan to do things you all can do together, such as playing a board game or reading a book. You should be present and avoid getting lost in electronics. You can each have alone time together, but most of the time, you want to focus on being together and interacting.

Being a dad can be hard when you do not get to see your children every day. However, you can still nurture your relationship when them and create a bond. You just need to learn to focus on them and put your efforts towards being present for them.
